The Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley is the latest addition to the treatment room, after he sustained a foot injury during Sunday’s 19-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 24-year-old, Shipley, was a shoo-in for Tank Bigsby who was added to the Injury reserve last week after filling in for one-time Super Bowl and three-time Pro Bowl Saquon Barkley.
Barkley was a notable absence from the game on Sunday with Philadelphia only mustering up 22 rushing yards compared to Jacksonville’s 102, their average before Barkley’s injury was 110.7 yards per game.
The 29-year-old suffered a hamstring injury against the Los Angeles Rams in game week 4.
The Eagles are starting to feel the pressure, and if key players like Saquon Barkley are still sidelined then things may start to boil over for The Franchise.
Head coach Nick Sirianni will be scratching his head trying to figure out what the cause of this crisis is, and hoping for a miracle as the Birds could potentially go into their tie against the Carolina Panthers without their first, second and third string running backs.
